1. Who we are

Mansa API is operated by Mansa Labs, a trading name of Serene Circle LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use mansaapi.com and the API, and what we do with it.

2. What we collect

  • Account details. When you request an API key we collect your name, email address, and any project details you choose to share (use case, target countries, expected volume).
  • Request logs. Each API call is logged with the key used, the path and query requested, IP address, user agent, and origin. We use these logs to enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, debug issues, and understand which datasets matter to users.
  • Billing details. Payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers — we keep records of plan, invoices, and payment status only.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data to anyone.

3. How we use your data

  • Operating the service: authenticating keys, metering usage, enforcing tier limits.
  • Service communication: key delivery, payment receipts, deprecation notices, incident notices.
  • Abuse prevention: identifying scraping, key sharing, and rate-limit circumvention.
  • Product decisions: aggregate usage patterns tell us which datasets and markets to expand.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service — hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing — each bound by their own data-protection terms. We do not sell or rent personal data.

5. Retention

Account details are kept while your key is active. Request logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted or aggregated. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing api@mansamarkets.com. Deleting your account data revokes your API keys.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced in the changelog and by email for active accounts.
